The History of Danny Sander Construction, Inc.
Starting back in 1976, Danny & Kathie Sander started "at the top" when they went into the earth-moving business. And in their case, that meant loading and delivering "top" soil to customers in the El Paso area.
Starting their construction company was a logical move, since Danny grew up around construction equipment. Both his father and father-in-law were in the industry, and he had worked on and with equipment since he was old enough to reach the pedals. Kathie, also with a construction background, knew the other half of running a business.

Sander Construction grew quickly, moving into other areas of dirt work - from landscaping and site development to finish grading and utility work.
In 1987, Danny & Kathie incorporated and became Danny Sander Construction, Inc.
DSCI specializes in utility work (water, sewer & storm sewer) to include any and all work related to installation. This would include concrete & HMAC paving, sidewalk, curb & gutter, underground storm drainage systems, drainage structures and boring.
In the late 90's, Shawn Sander began working for the company starting in the field learning and understanding what it takes to run a successful business. Over the years, he learned running crews and jobsites, keeping equipment in order, scheduling, ordering and deliveries of materials, dealing with subcontractors and suppliers, and overall project supervision and management. With knowledge of what it takes to run all aspects of the business gives a better understanding of all business related costs. This has allowed him to be very successful in bidding and estimating.
Danny turned over the reins for the daily running of DSCI in the early 2000's. Since that time, business has prospered. After 41 years in business it was time for a change. In 2017 Shawn Sander became President and CEO of the corporation. Business is expected to run, "business as usual".
